Another year has gone by with U.S. buyers continuing to favor full-size trucks as their top choice in the used car market. The annual study by iSee Cars analyzed the sales of over 7.7 million used cars aged between one and five years old (2019 – 2023). The Ford F-150 is still the most popular used model, followed by the Chevrolet Silverado and Ram 1500 rivals. This year, the Ram reclaimed its third-place position edging out the Chevrolet Equinox SUV, which dropped to fourth place. While the top three is dominated by America’s favorite full-size trucks, SUVs remain the most popular bodystyle in the used car market, occupying 65 out of the 100 slots. The high-riding models are joined by 22 passenger cars, 11 trucks, and 2 minivans.
