Chrysler is marking 20 years of providing families with ample room for their adventures, commemorating the anniversary of its innovative Stow 'n Go seating and storage system. To celebrate, the brand is launching a new Stow 'n Go Challenge, which will make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show from January 10-20, 2025.
Launched in the 2005 model year, the Stow 'n Go seating and storage system has seen sales of 5 million minivans. This innovative system enables the second and third-row seats to effortlessly fold flat into the floor. Additionally, when the seats are not stowed, the in-floor bins provide convenient storage space for gear.
"Chrysler will celebrate its centennial in 2025, a milestone that showcases a century of innovation fueled by years of excellence in design, technology, and functionality," stated Chris Feuell, CEO of the Chrysler brand. "The Stow 'n Go seating feature is just one of many groundbreaking innovations from Chrysler that has significantly improved the lives of our customers."
Fast forward two decades, and Stow 'n Go continues to be a standout feature of the Chrysler minivan lineup. The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica showcases the most advanced seating and storage solutions available in its category, with Chrysler minivans uniquely providing Stow 'n Go seating. This innovative feature allows for over 140 cubic feet of cargo space when the seats are folded away.
Second- and third-row Stow 'n Go seating is standard on the gas-powered 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Select and 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Limited, including Pacifica Select and Limited models with all-wheel drive. Stow 'n Go is also standard on the 2025 Chrysler Voyager. Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid and gas-powered Pacifica Pinnacle models feature standard third-row Stow 'n Go seating, with removable second-row seats.
Launched for the 2005 model year, the Stow 'n Go seating system set a new standard in the industry. Created by a collaborative team of engineers and designers within the company, this innovation marked another milestone for the brand that pioneered the minivan segment over four decades ago. Chrysler later hosted a Stow 'n Go Challenge at various enthusiast events, giving customers the opportunity to see just how simple and efficient the Stow 'n Go seating and storage solution is in action.
A revived Stow 'n Go Challenge will debut at this year's Detroit Auto Show, putting participants to the test and on the clock to win prizes and find out how much road-trip gear can be quickly stored into a Stow 'n Go-equipped 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Family Adventure Vehicle (FAV) Edition.
Chrysler is set to host the Stow 'n Go Challenge during various auto show events in 2025.
